It was easy to install. I just drilled out some holes to slip the zipties through... And I was done.

I think it turned out pretty good!
I'm totally borrowing this! Looks great. Why did you have to drill some holes when there's already so many holes to begin with? Zipties too big?

Yea, the holes are pretty small to fit the Zipties through. You can see I drilled out too many holes in the center of the grill.. After I tightened up the Zipties...I found I didn't need the ties in the middle.

If your wondering...Lowes had the sheets of aluminum near the storm doors and railings...near the back of store, on the end of an isle. If you find the diamond plated metal...your in the right place.

I've seen guys post here with the hood lock, and they just cut around it where the lock extends down.

I want to get the lock and the aluminum grill! Just need to get off my ass.

Purchased two off ebay these last week arrived in two days. Quality of the powder coat finish is fantastic. Have not installed yet but comes with alcohol swabs, zip ties and mounting blocks. Looks like same install method you all mention here. I will be epoxying these down. Cheers
