Default soft top curve??

for those doing this with a soft top, how did you determine the curve and accurately cut it? I have mine cut out all except for where it meets the tailgate

anyone make one to cover the whole rear area (bench removed)
there are many threads for 4 dr jks but non for 2 door (and no its not the same because of the way the soft top folds down)

@ klutz... How did you secure to the belt rail?

I owns pretty set on using diamond plate and making it fixed (no hinges) but I have soft upper windows that I might need to stand up in the back and if not them, it might be something else tall like a beach chair or something. Not sure if I want to take a chance with a fixed panel.

Bringing up a rather old thread but I was looking at building this for my 2011 2dr. I noticed however that the 2011 and up with the new interior has plastic molding around the rear roll bars where the sliding lock was pushed into the roll bars to secure the trunk/lid. I was wondering if anyone has built one of these with the new interior and how they secured it. I was looking at some of the pre-drilled holes I believe they are for a hardtop on the side rails and securing the top with some bolts. Any ideas out there

Here are a few pictures of how I covered up my trunk. The seems are really visible in the picture because I wasint done nailing everything down tight but they arnt visible in person. It is relatively water proof and goes around the edges really snug so that my subwoofer and amps don't get a lot of moisture. I also had to use the carpet in the picture which is actually a runner instead of matching the jeep carpet because they were sold out. I may replace it down the road for better matching but I don't really care for now. If you have any questions I'm game to answer them.
