I don't have a pressure switch in my installation. Just wondered what type of switch would be good.

Great mod! I have this compressor and it works like a champ. It would be nice not to have to dig it our and hook it up each time. Did you only mount one hose fitting or can/did you run a T and put a fitting on each side of the Jeep?

Thanks. I like the idea of a fitting on both sides, but installed only one thinking I'd upgrade to two if I added a tank at a later date. I.e., it wouldn't work with two open fittings, and if I used couplers instead I'd have a closed system with no pressure cutoff switch. Any ideas on other ways to address this? I just don't want to blow up the pump if I accidentally power it on and the air has nowhere to go.

Maybe split the system you have and then carry a closed off coupler that you can pop onto one side while you are using the other!
