Yep, they're definately bigger than me.....anyway, your straps look pretty much the same as mine....it looks like the strap sticks out into the floorboard area a little more than mine when the door is closed though. I know when I take the doors off, I have to play with the strap to get it just right so it will slip off of that hook.

BTW, here's a pic of my brother-n-law, myself, and my wife at his graduation. (I'm in the middle)

Tell them to stop squirming around or you won't feed them. Problem solved.

You could just get a variation of this sticker made and stick it on the passenger door....

I would think if you slide a rubber washer over then under the hook that would keep them from coming off.

AGREED... mine is a borderline PITA to get off the hooks... if the loops are too big, you could always use a staple gun through a bit of it and mend the two prongs of the staple inwards so it will be smaller. (if that made sense)

alternatively... you could acquire more aestetically pleasing friends

Looks like a rubber washer over the top of the hook might be the easiest thing to do. sounds like some of yours have smaller loops than mine are, when I took the doors off the straps just slid right off (all 4) not a PITA at all ... maybe too easy.

I have to fight mine a bit to get them off. Tip. It's much easier to slip them off before you lift the door up off the hinges.
