Not to beat a dead horse but I've done this mod & it's definetly good bang for the buck (or lack thereof).

Great idea. That annoys me every time I wash my jeep. Going home to drill! What size bit did you use?

I was the one that asked that. Thanks for the response.

I'm going to have to go one size larger on the drill bit on mine. I noticed it's just not draining all of the water and the drivers side leaves some hard water running down the door. At least it's easy to get the mirrors off.

I just bought my 08 Rubicon last week and as of today I've completed my first mod. After reviewing this thread in its entirety, studying the mirrors, drawing diagrams with circles and arrows, writing a complete narrative about my intentions and then, of course, taking 37 different measurements to ensure the holes are in complete alignment with the Earths equator....... I now have drainable mirrors. Now I need a nap.

For a mod as complicated as this, I think we should name it. Anyone have any ideas?

Rearview Flow Enhancer? Aqua Channeling device?
