How to get them off? Umm, open the door and unscrew the torx screws on the inside. Extremely easy.

Open the window, reach through, and use a T-40 to remove the bolts (hold the mirror so that it doesnt end up on the ground)

I made the notch a little bigger and cut out some of the foam, but it still pee's a little, just a dribble. I need and will go back and drill them....sounds like something to do this weekend.

I made the factory notch on my mirrors bigger & trimmed the foam sealer around it also. I like that look better than the drilled hole. It works great for me! No continues water draining.
