Today on the Jeep, we are installing part number 51-0311 which are rocker guards for all 2007-2018 Jeep Wrangler JKs.

Here is what you will get out of the box:
-1 driver side rocker guard
-1 passenger side rocker guard
-16 ea. Allen head bolts M8x1.25x30mm
-16 ea. Nutserts M8x1.25
-1 ea. Hex Bolt M8x1.25x40mm
-1 ea. spacer
-1 ea. M8 Flat Washer

Tools used for the install where:
-nutsert tool
-7/16 drill bit
-3/16 allen wrench
-white china marke

Before we begin, if your Jeep has any running boards or rock sliders, begin by removing them and setting them off to the side.



To install the rocker guards, first locate and position driver side rocker guard onto the Jeep. Using the holes in the rocker guard as a guide mark the side of the Jeep. (You will need the help from an assistant to hold the rocker guard in place.)



The second step we did is remove the rocker guard and set it aside in a protected area, so it won’t get damaged. Center punch the previously applied marks for the drilling and carefully using a 7/16 drill bit drill the marked holes.



Once the holes are drilled, using your nutsert tool place all nutserts into the body. Place the driver side rocker guard back onto the jeep. Line up the holes on the rocker guard with the previously installed nutserts.



Start the supplied M8x1.25x30mm allen head bolt through the holes in the rocker guard onto the nutsert. Repeat the steps for the remaining bolts. Tighten down all hardware using a 3/16 allen wrench. Repeat the steps for both sides of the body and that completes the installation for 51-0311.
