When I have my hardtop on, I run without those two screws, too. I guess we get about as much wind here in OKC as you do in Jenks. LOL. Never had a problem; nary even a leak.

those two bolts are only used when you use the top as a bikini hard top. I have been thru wicked winds to tsunami rains and not one problem to date. I have been next to a semi with a 60mph winds (not from the semi) and the panels never moved.
