The markers are led markers from the trailer section in Walmart. I used some duct tape to follow the line to cut. I used the same razor knife with a hook shaped blade. I heated up the blade with a heat gun to make the initial cut then chased the heat gun with the blade. Do not stop with the heat gun or you will vaporize your fenders. I was able to keep my "fenderpants" on in the back as well. I then sprayed the inside of the fender area with duplicolor spray liner. i am really happy with the way it came out. 1 box of door trim did all the fenders. I also bought some rock lights from walmart on the recomendation of a forum member. I installed those today as well and love 'em. Leave yourself at least 4 hrs to do this it took me longer than that because of my blinker mod. I would say 6 hrs to do everything, but then i am a little slow. Here is some pics in the sun.

Nice chop job. I wonder if it's possible to attach the light on the bottom side of the fender?

it is a seperate piece attached to the outer with tabs and the body with tabs. I left the tabs in the body and cut around them. i cut the outer ones off in the trim so what was left is the support, the outer fenders and the inner wheel well only. a lot of people cut out the support to give it a more finished look from the front. I chose to leave it for the full support. I could almost sit on my fenders and they would hold my weight, but my trim is admitadley not as finished looking as some others.

It would be very easy to retain the light bulb and wiring itself as it twists into the assembly and does no0t need to be cut to be taken out. The orange assembly may be more difficult to attach. I went with these markers because they were 6.00 and appeared to look somewhat stock. I would enjoy seeing someone use thewhole stock marker assembly, the challange has been posted!

Dude! Excellent job! I might have to accept the challenge and see if I can work out something using the factory markers. Promised the wife that I would wait 1 year from the purchase date to add any "gizmos, gadjets or bull shit" to the Jeep. May 28th is just around the corner!
