I have an unlimited X with the upgraded sound system which has the sub in the back. I recently found myself needing to remove the sub to gain extra width while transporting a dining room table. Of course I didn't have any tools to speak of, but I did manage to get the three bolts off with a pair of regular pliers. Anyway, I decided it would be nice to have a mechanism to quickly remove the sub. I went to Lowe's and looked for some wingnuts to replace the stock nuts. I managed to find a good fit and it seems to be working well. I didn't get any lock washers, but I will probably add those soon. I did also get a rubber stopper which I'm going to drill out to cover the extra bolt that sticks up so nothing gets scratched.

Secondly, the previous owner of my jeep had a front license plate installed and I don't run one, so I wanted to plug the holes. I looked while at Lowe's and found some automotive plastic plugs that work great to fill the holes. Not a big difference, but I like it. Hope it helps. Aloha!
