I like it. I put one on the front of my XJ. Wondered if one was offered for the JK front yet. D Ring in there makes a good front recovery point. With enough lift I don't see approach being hurt too much. Judging by how it sits on the Jeep. On my list. Happen to have the P/N?

DBB888, you are the nuttiest nutt, and a straight up JK Modder. You have the best write-ups and the craziest stuff I have ever seen. But I love every post.

Keep up the good work.

I saw you today over by Wendy's on Oak Tree Road. The black rims look great. Are they powder coated or painted? I should have stopped to check out the hitch on the front to see if it will work with my aftermarket bumper. I think it will but I want to be sure before buying one. I was thinking of having my friend who has a fabrication shop build a skid plate with a hitch but it may be cheaper to just buy a premade one.

I think you should add some gussets, or tubbing from each of those lower corners to the post going into the hitch, just to help prevent twisting.

I don't think it's legal per-say, but you may want to disable the airbags when you go to use it, you are going to be ramming into stuff after all. It'd suck ramming some snow and having the bag deploy in your face.
