Grill Mod
I made one out of a screen door protector (the one designed to keep dogs from scratching thru the screen. Just cut to size using snips and put it in. no need to tie it cause the it was sandwiched in between the grill and radiator mounts. I used the remaining material to make protectors for my fogs. $5

update: i did the grill mod last night to my 2 week old JK and the plastic "screws" are different.....no phillips head. they are just plain and easily pry out with a flat head screwdriver.
.....and thanks again for this write-up. no pics because it's raining today, but i love it!

I did this mod last year with the rain gutter mesh. I like the look of it but I find the tie wrap squares don't stick very long. I even took it all apart and got some 5 minute epoxy and it still wouldn't stick good.
I used the gutter guard stuff about a month ago. Some of them came off and I stuck them with super glue. The ones I used the glue on stuck but some of the others have come off...can't tell unless you know what you are looking for.
Yeah i noticed immediately that some of them were already struggling to hold on so i ended up adding 7 more sticky squares to the bottom. I think that should do for now. Once the grill loosens up i think it will be alright. The true test will be in the summer when the grill gets to 110 degrees. then well see how well the stickies hold on.
If you have a local electric supply house, they carry them too. They are commonly reffered to as 'sticky-backs'
