If I ever have to pull my grill off again I'll keep that in mind. It's a pain taking it off with the winch in the way.

I've got all the parts and I am ready to do this. Has anybody done this mod with a winch still attached? The top of the grill disconnected easy enough but it is a real wrestling match to get the bottom connectors loose, and I fear I might break one or more of them. On the other hand it is a PITA to take the winch off. Advice? My winch is a Warn 9.5 ti. Many thanks.

I just did this mod yesterday and it was easy getting it out because you could put your hands through the slots. The real challenge was getting it back in. With a little patience I got it.

Patience?? Oh, there is my problem! (I had more patience when I was a doctor- Groucho Marx)

OK- on second thought, it is just four bolts to loosen the winch so I think I will do that so I have some more wiggle room.

Thanks!

Installed today. I like it!

BTW, much easier to loosen the winch up instead of wrestling with the grill.

http://www.ebay.com/itm/Jeep-Wrangle...c4d0fa&vxp=mtr

Found this on eBay and seems like the best option.

Looks like one of the feedbacks said they got chicken wire. I would go with another alternative.
