Default Just Bought a Cheap Kit of Amazon

I just bought this kit off Amazon (http://www.amazon.com/Wrangler-BLACK...9994156&sr=8-1). Probably paid too much for it but it was done for me already and well painted. Here are some shots:

He doesn't know what he is talking about. The zip ties hold true, it's the little square things the tie goes through that will not hold if you use them as supplied. Most everyone glue down the squares with something else, than they hold just fine. Some just use one large piece of metal and don't use any tie downs at all.

I actually used JB weld to epoxy the Clips onto the grill and then used UV rated (means Outdoor) zip ties to hold the metal. That way later i can change things easiy all i need is metal and more zip ties!

So its been a bit since i did the grill mod, hafta say no problems whatsoever. Mud, snow, -30 celsius, wash, junebugs; nothing.

My only advise is proper prep work, i removed the adhesive backing on the tie blocks and washed the grill down before I started. (check my write up a few pages back).

also gorilla glue ftw, this shit is crazy strong.

good luck all!
