Grille Mesh Insert - new method
Great write up! I have probably missed this in the beginning but once you have the frame completed how do you get the frame to stay in place in the grill? Or is that what you mean by "The grille will hold the insert against the forward frame of the vehicle" so there will really be no need for any attachments of the insert to the grill at all?
Sorry, Im just looking into this as I am no where near a "craftsman" and just want to make sure I was reading it right before I committed to this project.
The grill looks great, and think this is a much better way than just using zip ties and gutter guards but I just want to make sure it is going to stay in place and it wont fall out and I drive over it driving down the road! Thanks again for the great write up.

The metal looks great. I have gutter guard plastic inserts (Plasti dipped), have worked well so far. Going to help buddy work on his and this method has been suggested as well. Nice work and great write-up!
