I installed a uconnect and VR , works great!! Due to the fact that the install doc got so big (took a lot of pics), I have provided an ftp server to hold the part 1 and part 2 installation step by step guide. that I created this weekend. hope this helps. I mounted my mic at the top of "A" pillar works great.
