yea ill put them in my KCs so that i can just cover them if necessary.
::EDIT:: I'm looking into the set of four strobes. All four can be used independently. Thus allowing me to run a set of clear strobes and a set of reds.

Why would you want reds? Isn't that crossing gettin a little close to imitating a police vehicle?

It would. But running any type of strobes in my city is illegal. Even if your car is parked. The more i think about the reds the less i like the idea of them. yet i still have four strobes. I still need to play with the idea of where they will go. Maybe a set in the KCs and a set in the headlamps. What do you think?

Well... I guess off road it's your call. Clear strobes are cool. If you have em, why not put em in? It doesn't harm anyone if you use them off road or for show.

I just think the red ones are crossing that line where people might question whether you're impersonating an officer's vehicle.. Just my two cents worth!

Do the strobe bulbs impede with the headlight beam.

The strobes do not impede the headlight beams at all. Mine are mounted just to the bottom left of the bulbs (if you are in front facing rear) I will take some still photos of how I mounted them.
The rears I installed in the "clear backup portion of the lens" everything is hidden.

I mounted my KC lights at the firestation a couple of weeks ago. A coworker told me to take the bulbs out and dip the bulbs in red dye. Then buy an alternating flasher that is simple to hook up. Then it would look like an old school cop from back in the day. 130watts of red flashing light would be freaking awsome.
Of courese I am not gonna do that

I'm not so sure white stobes are so illegal. I just saw a hurse leading a funeral, and it had white strobes. I drove by it on the freeway. Now I know a funeral director is not a police officer.

No not a police officer but they probably have a permit to do it. Here they use a police escort to lead the funeral group. I can see where a hurse would use them and be legal also
