JKS Sway Bar Link Quick Disconnects Installation
Just so you know, I installed these discos on Ctimrun's and NotMySonsJK's JK X and decided to do a write-up on them just in case anyone might be interested.
Im thinking of getting these for my stock JK X. I have one question though.
When the swaybar is disco'd, am I in danger of the axle flexing too much and breaking the break lines? Would I need longer lines if I run with the discos disconnected?

No, the factory front brake lines are long enough to handle a full droop up to about 3" of lift. Any more than that and you will need to get extension brackets or new extended brakelines.
Well, I decided to go the Homemade Disco route until I get the money for JKS Quicker Disconnects. I used the Clevis pins and carter pins. Works pretty well.
I had one Other Question.
Do you guys also disconnect the rear sway bar or should I always leave those connected? what are the pros/cons of disconnecting the rear as well, if possible?
Everywhere I search everyone just talks about front discos.
Thanks

nope. unlike the front which has a really thick sway bar, the rear is quite thin and very flexible. there is no need to disconnect the rear as it will not limit your flex and will actually offer stability.
