Default and if anyone is wondering

the front bumper is the smittybilt MOD bumper. this is a new bumper that allows this arrangement or two diffent end caps that can be added. i have an end cap ordered that has fog lights but it will not be in for some time. apparently this is a brand new bumper as it has taken a very long time just to get this section of the bumper in.

Did the bolts for the top plates not fit for your bumper either or did you just choose to not mount them?

Default it was not a real smooth install

yes i did i have trouble. im hoping the bumper ends im getting will transition together the way they are supposed to. i like the bumper fine but there were 2 holes on the top side of the bumper that i had to drill out to a larger size. i dont understand why the manufacturer would have me to do this rather than have it prepared for it already. the biggest problem i have had is waiting on 4wd.com to get it to me. they say it will be around june before the end caps come in. if i could do it again, i probably would have gone with a different bumper, but that is out of frustration regarding the time, not the bumper itself. what do you think about it?

Default mod bumper

a friend and i put the bumper on and it took us probably 5 hours or so. of course that time included the winch also, so if the bumper alone would have been less time. the bumper has a total of 4 holes that have to be drilled out; two on the top and two under the bottom of the jeep. the holes i had to drill on the top were very easy, but the bottom holes took some work. with all of this said though, i am very bad with stuff like this, so it would probably take someone else a shorter amount of time.
