First mod I did on my '11. Just makes you feel good to do something to the jeep, even if it is flashlight.

I was concerned about that too but I do have to use a little force to get my light in and out of the holder. It may loosen up over time but right now it has an iron grip on it lol

Question

Just out of curiosity, why are you guys still using outdated, low performance Alkaline battery powered incandecent flashlights when you could be using the modern, more efficient, longer lasting, more durable smaller Lithium battery LED lamps? Is it because Maglites double as impact weapons

Maybe it's because we already owned one for years because they last forever. And the potential for blunt force trauma is a plus. Mag's do have led versions as well, I just don't see the need to replace my old one just because...

Maglights are great weapons. I've had to kill a deer with one before. And I have the same maglight my father gave me. The damn things last forever.

Done! Not to bad of an install especially when pressed for time but happy with the way it came out. Most surprised how well it fits.

Very well. Despite the brackets being plastic, they hold very well. It actually takes some effort to get the mag out. They've held 100% for me so far, on and off the trail.
