This has probably been my most useful mod yet. I work on a flight-line and i have to check my tires for rocks before i drive out there, so i get to use my mag-lite almost every day. I also did both front seats. LED Mag-Lite on drivers seat and standard Mag-Lite on passenger seat.

Would you guys recommend the quickfists instead of the plastic maglite mounts? worried about the cold causing the plastic to crack if its hit

Have any of you guys had your flashlights stolen while running doorless?

This mod is cool, but you might want to use the hex head screws instead of the philips. There is a hard spot right next to the whole in the seat frame, and it eats philips head screws.

If you tap the holes ahead of time, you won't have any problems using the phillips screws provided.

Wow...I've been driving around for years with my maglite rolling around under the seat. I can't believe this didn't occur to me before seeing it. I may even have the mount around here somewhere from a previous planned mounting option. Thanks for posting!

I have both seats done. Also wayoflife is correct, pre tap and screws will go right in. Btw my clamps are metal not plastic (maglite brand) and they are dirt cheap at Sportmans. I think I paid 3.75 for the sets to do both seats

Just did it today! Pre-tap screws and it's good to go!
