I buy led strips by the rolls to do motorcycles. I just wrapped a strip around the headlight bezel.

same here. i want to have some accent lights but i cant find a good write up. i've been looking but for some reason the search function on her is giving me a hard time. pops up all kinds of stuff i didnt ask for. a write up would be awesome

If you can solder and heat shrink then you will save yourself a lot of money. If not you will have to buy your leds in cut lengths with wire already attached costing more. Installation is very easy. There are only two wires used, 20-22ga wire size.
I install LED's on motorcycles on the side, so this is basic to me.

That'd be awesome.

is it as simple as running a positive and negative wire from the battery to the LEDs and putting a switch on one of the wires to open the circuit? i'm just scared to do anything because i don't want to mess up all the computer stuff on the jeep


the lights on the bikes look badass by the way!

Yes it is that easy. Just put an inline 5 amp fuse between battery and the switch. As I am connecting my lights together I use a nine volt battery to verify all connections are good as I go along. You can use crimp connections but I prefer soldered connections.

oh wow. i figured with the can-bus (or whatever?) it might be hard to do. thanks man. a write up would still be cool too. i like the look of yours
