When I ordered the kit, it came with one wiring harness that ran both seats. So you only need to hook up the power once.

I got my heated seats today. One question It says to remove the protective backing or it can be a fire hazard. All I have is two white strips at each end. is this what they are talking about? Also it came with duct tape lookin strips. I peeled back the white strips on the elements but there not stickey. so how do you secure it to the seat?

The white tape is double sided tape. Peel carefully

only the one strip has to be double sided. is this correct? If not this is some THIN double sided tape! Do you use the duct tape strips aswell?

If some one could post how they attached them to the seats that be great. The directions are kinda wack. Talking about drilling holes and stuff. last thing I want is to set my butt on fire!

ok I looked closer at it. The double sided tape is clear. So it is quite thin. So I just going to peel them off and stick to the seat. Then use the other tape around the edges of the pad. This correct?

yeah, that should work great. make sure that you push it a little bit into the crevices that run front to back and top to bottom on the seat foam so that the fabric will sit correctly when you re-install.
