Post My JK Saddle Bags

I needed more space to throw all my crap so I came up with an idea to make saddle bags for that dead space on the console. I just test drove it with the top off and it stays secure. I used a couple of those 3M stickys underneath just to be sure.

I just took computer paper and layed it on the console to make the pattern. Just cut and trim until the paper fits, do the same for the side bags. Add a seam allowance when cutting the fabric and sew.

This is for all you guys out there that might feel a little leary of running a power tool such as a sewing machine.

Great Idea! thanks for the pics.
i have some material that is the exact same as the soft top material that i think i will use to make one of these. I made a window roll from it as well and am in the process of working on a soft top boot.
