Great Idea! thanks for the pics.
i have some material that is the exact same as the soft top material that i think i will use to make one of these. I made a window roll from it as well and am in the process of working on a soft top boot.
You made me realize I didn't describe the material I used. What I used was almost as heavy as the soft top material. It should be a heavy weight canvas type or upholstery material otherwise it won't have enough body and weight to it and it will flop around and not lay correctly. I even chose to line the pockets just for cushion and added weight.

i have saddle bags.. but.. i.. am not going to post pictures of them. i prefer to call them love handles... ...or death grips~whatever.

anywho...

that is a really good idea i may have to try that out.

Is there any sort of weighting (other than the items you store in there) or will "fly-away" be an issue with doors- & top-off driving?
