Default Mystery Vacuum Line

Hello Everyone, I am new here and recently acquired a 2016 JKU. It has a sound coming from the lower driver's side dash that sounds like a vacuum leak. Yesterday I decided to take some of the dash apart to see if I could find anything, Under the carpet on the drivers side found a white line that looks like it should have a rubber hose attached to it. I traced it back and it runs out to the engine intake manifold. I cannot find anywhere under the dash where this line is supposed to connect. Does anybody know what this line is and where it is supposed to connect?

That doesn't strike me as factory, I've certainly not seen one. Whereabouts on the intake manifold does it attach?

No, on board air compressor. It definitely looks like a factory line, but I am beginning to believe that it may not be. I am thinking that I will just cap it off, so it quits making noise, and drive it till I figure out what is not working and that will likely be the source.

My interior has been completely out before to bedline the tub. I don't recall anything like that line, and I confirmed last night I don't see anything under the dash that is a white line like that on my '13, that I can see. Curious where this is routed to in the engine bay. I have no white line routed through the firewall either.

I may have figured it out, This Jeep was owned by a guy who flat towed it behind his RV, doing some research this morning there are supplemental braking system that are used when towing, part of that system includes a vacuum pump that provides vacuum to the system for the brakes in the towed vehicle. I believe that system was pulled out, but the vacuum line was left in place. I will do some more research when I get home tonight.
