I did my 4 wheels (spare is off the jeep) with 2 cans. 4 coats each. I did all 5 of my gf's JKU wheels with about 2.5-2.75 cans, 5 coats each. I guess I'm just that good. LOL

Not to be that guy but this is just another product plasti dip is trying to sell you. IMO screw the goo-gone in the fancy bottle and just use the pressure washer. Its what I used when I removed the plasti-dip off of my jeep. Also theres no reason to use that product which will fade the stock flares, stock bumpers and stock mirror if it comes in contact with them.

So I finally started to plasti dip. I got an ARB bumper from Craig's list about two years ago and the rubber pads on them have started to look really bad. This is where the plasti dip comes in. I didn't bother masking off anything since I am most likely going to do the rest of the bumper soon. The first pic was in my garage and the second outside. The pieces look 100 times better.

I will say that I don't think the plasti dip will peel off though. It seems like it has bonded/absorbed into the material. Probably because the material was so dried out.

Anyone try the orange color dip? Is it any bit similar to the mango color? Seen the inside of the freedom top done and got the ideas going haha

Had my grill done... Thought I had sprayed it thick enough, but it started flaking off... tried to peel it, no luck...

Did the Goof Off spray to remove it, it turns to a sticky goo...

Two hours later after using a rubber scraper to scrape the goo off, then soap and water to get the goof off removed, then some touch up cleaning with windex... I finally had the plastidip off...

NEVER again will I spray that stuff on anything.

I scuffed the grill down with scotchbrite pad, and sprayed bedliner on my grill.... 10,000% better looking.

I'm off the plastidip wagon.
