Default Plasti-dip vs Rustoleum

So I hear alot about both of these and I'm trying to figure out which one is best between the aerosol Plasti-dip and the Rustoleum spray-on bedliner. I'm looking at takin the carpet out eventually and sprayin her down. Any advice, experience, issues, etc.

Let's hear it!

Not sure how the Plasti-dip would work on the floors? The Rustoleum bed liner IMHO would probably be better for this application. Plasti-dip might just peel off with everyday use.

That's what I thought but then I hear about sprayin the plasti dip on everything from grills to wheels. I didn't think that stuff had a real strong adhesive property.

For rattle canning your tub, don't use Plast-Dip. Use the Rustoleum.

Rustoleum doesn't peel up. It would be the better choice. I would suggest U-POL or Raptor Liner though. Both are much better for the tub than Rustoleum rattle can.

Plasti-Dip is great because you can peel it all up when you're tired of it. But with daily walking on, heels scratching, crap getting thrown on and dragged off, it will peel up fast.

Plasti-Dip is chosen for wheels, grill, door hinges, fenders and others, because it can be removed, but withstands bugs, small occasional branches, and road dirt.

That answers it! Awesome! Thanks for the knowledge!

Rustoleum is way too thin and has such a light texture that it feels more like a simple paint. I'm surprised nobody mentioned Duplicolor's spray-on bedliner. It's much thicker and if you've done your prep work correctly, it stays on for good.

That's what I used and it's not coming off any time soon.

I used Rustoleum spray liner on my wheels and both custom bumpers I built. Holding up strong to the elements and multiple trips to the gulf coast. Salt water eats everything but everything is holding up good. The key is good prep before application. Just my 2 cents and good luck which ever you choice.
