anyone know how far the top bar is from the body? 2 inches perhaps? that'll also make it a good entry step. I love these sliders!

Looks great. How did you paint them? What type of paint? DIY or pay a shop? What type of shop?

I had a local powdercoater spray them. Rattle can is definitely cheaper but I tried that on my first set and wasn't happy with the finish. So on the 2nd set I had them coated to match the doors.

Given the $$$ investment in the Jeep, probably worth getting a powdercoater to spray them. Thanks for the info.

Btw, thought your Jeep looked familiar (with familiar buildings in the background)...found a picture of it in some photos I took at SEMA last November.

Buying these pretty soon, your guide definitely helps over the instructions Poison Spyder gives us, they are pretty good as well though.
