I talked to a custom interiors shop, one time, about making a headliner. He really pushed a product called Lizard Skin. He wanted to spray the inside of my top with it and then attach the fabric.... It sounded like it would work I just never did it.

well today was the day that i got to call and find out more about the lifts that everyone recomended. I've made a few decisions...

I'm going to go with a 3.5 AEV primium lift from northridge 4x4
I am also going to gear up to 4.10
I have ordered a superchip performance chip.
I have ordered a rear bumper and snorkle through river raider
I am hoping to find a cage for my 4 door.
I am going to order 1.25 spacers.
and im going to buy BFGoodwrench 285's on my stock 18" sahara wheels.

I'm going to fab my own front bumper and winch plate and going to use a recomendations from the forum and add some insulation to the hard top. It's going to be awesome... progress pictures ar on their way

I am just going to bed-line the insulation I use with a light coat of Bed Armor... then its impervious to mud.

Did you need to primer the top or just wash it clean and spray it?
Thanks

...my silver JK will look best without the high gloss roof, but considering how high it sits few would actually see it. I think I want to work with the insulation instead. How hard is it to cut/form? Will a carpet knife do it?

Default Nevermind...

I am spraying the roof first. Probably with that same profuct the original poster described, with the same border masking.

FIRST- gonna post a feeler to see if I can get a soft top instead

Default Satellite Antenna

To be clear, are you saying the foil on the insulation did interfere with your reception?

Radio and GPS?
