I also like that cover, too, also... I thing that is a good idea for when I get the tire/can carrier.
Give off-roading a try...

I will not have one. My jeep is going to be an urban vehicle. I commute to work on city streets, and will go out at nights with the wife. The only dirt it will ever see (unfortunately) is the sand blown on the road by the beach.
I carry a plug kit and compressor just in case I get a flat and if that doesn't work I have AAA.
I know alot of people prefer the spare, but I would rather see out my back window ( remember I am in Florida, I need to keep an eye out for the grannies and immigrants). I also prefer the look with no spare.

That looks good ... but do they sell just the center piece that the brake light and license bracket attach too? On their website they just show the entire tailgate cover.

I have it in flat steel. The cover and brake light are sold separately. I also have in my garage the tailgate cover in flat steel (covering the holes), but at the end I just used decals to cover the holes instead. Be careful when ordering all these tailgate covers as they have a bunch of variations for different applications. I absolutely love this setup. I just wish I could hose the tailgate w/o worrying about water going inside where I have the brake light wires.
