Magnaflow seem to have a taller round universal muffler, 6" X 27" wouldn't this help in decreasing the drone & gives a deeper sound?

Has anyone installed it in the stock muffler location? In the pictures it is under the driver seat, is it possible to put it in the stock location?

You can put it anywhere it would fit. Stock location is fine.

We are traveling on a 1000 mile trip soon w/ my wife and 2 small kids. How much louder is this setup (Magnaflow) where the factory muffler was installed? Will we be able to carry on a conversation still and not drive our kids crazy with the drone sound? Any help is much appreciated. Thanks.
