Rugged Ridge snorkle

I installed my a couple days after Christmas and I really like it. I do feel like I have a bit more power at lower RPMs but my mileage seems unaffected. My six year old talked me into putting on the high mount and I've had several people complement it since then. No one seemed to notice the low mount at all.
They are remaking/updating the kit to work with the 3.8 and the 3.6, one kit to rule them all . RR clams it's coming out soon.

No worries here about hydrolock. Yes double check the fit and condition of the joints prior to playing in deep water. This is a pretty complex snorkel with several connections. Mine has gone hood deep 3x now with no issues.
As for mpg I took a 1.5 hit when compared to my K&N CAI I had before. I'm running 33s and average 16mpg hand calculated. Also I have the 3.8 manual with 3.21 gears..... For now

I installed the AEV snorkel and a K&N air filter for the stock air box the same time about a year and a half ago. I went from 14.5 city to 18.3 and from 18 hwy to 22.1. I've been running with 32" duratracs the whole time. Feb 2nd I installed the Superchips mod and set the jeep to run 91octane performance. I went from 18.3 city to 19.1 and 22.1 hwy to 23. It's been less than a week so I will keep everyone posted as time goes on. Also I live in Houston where it's very flat.
