No, I'm no salesman.
I've just done my research after running into all sorts issues with my engine compartment temps... I use my Superchip for my gauges during my trail rides and pay pretty close attention to it. While on the highway 
heading toward the trail head my CAI runs mid 80's while wheeling it can get up 180
,an average temp is 120ish. I can't seem to stop melting plug wires and I've even noticed that my battery tray is starting to melt. I'm trying every thing possible to keep my engine compartment cool with minimal success. I've even put in a 180 deg. thermostat (stock 195) and resetting my fan temps with my chip with no success. My next plan is cutting open my hood and installing these louvers. I'm 100% positive that these louvers will get me back in to the 120 range even with heavy wheeling in the middle of summer. Most people dread cutting in to their JK but I can't wait!

. I took off the inner fender well skirts and that helped out a bunch. If I go wheeling where their is a lot of mud I just reinstall them.

I just spent 20 min. typing a detailed explanation of my install of my louvers, thinking it may help someone. When I went to post it, the site said I needed to log in first !!!! I WAS LOGGED IN, OR ELSE I COULDN'T HAVE GOT TO THIS POSTING SCREEN! Now when I go back, it's all gone, SO SCREW IT.
