Stubby front bumper without plastic cover

I did this the other day. So far I have only removed the cover and painted to see how it is going to look. Next I will remove the crush cans and fill the fog light holes. Not sure how much I want to chop off the ends yet. Not bad for a free mod, I like it. Might also paint tow hooks black, not sure yet....Click image for larger version

I did that, then changed bumper, changed it again, now I think I will go back to that. I have a winch and the Olympic winch plate; gonna get their light kit, D ring, and flat plate that replaces the plastic piece between the bumper and grill.

Default I know I’m late but just got around to knocking this out.






Couldn’t stand the plastic bumper any longer and wasn’t quite ready to move on a new one - saving my pennies for rubber. This thread was a huge help. Cut, spray lined, and mounted some mesh and D-ring shackles. This should hold me over for a bit.
