I am showing what u have to do to the mount with another bolt to rotate it.. hope this helps!

Forgot one... u will need to trim the plastic by the fan so the edisco plug clears it.

I was able to reuse the bolt, after tapping the lower hole w/10x1.50, there was enough room in the rubber bungee. I didnt bother w/the bending, a couple minutes w/a sawzall took care of the clearance issues. I dont planning on ever running it hanging down again & trimmed off the bolt hole / ear on the disco that was pinned underneath the cover after the flip. After all this time w/the JK, I cant believe they havent mounted it like this from the factory.

I have experienced the same fu**ery with mine. It's usually under repair. Warranty up in 2014...sorry for the hi-jack. Just wanted to commiserate.
