I've seen you jeep around everyonce in a while, it's a nice looking jeep.


Does it cause any problems when you open the hood? I'm kind of between a kit like this one or one for the rear bumper.

So, the bolt heads actually rest against the bolts on the Jeep? Is it designed like that? Really?

Yeah, that 'feature' is kind of dumb because in my case they didn't line up and the bolt head was resting on the hinge taking paint off....I got some of those little things you put under chair legs so the bolt rests on the hard plastic side of the chair leg cap and the rubber side of the cap rests on the hinge.

No problems opening the hood. When you have the hood propped open there is probably 1/2" or a little more of space between the body and the lowest part of the jack.

A plus: it stops the hood lift a lot of people get at high speeds

I think my main concern would be windshield clearance when hood is full open and propped on windshield. Any inside information here?
