Great customer service? Multiple PM's and phone calls that went unanswered over two weeks led me to ordering the PSC kit.

Sorry to hear that. All my questions and issues with my tire carrier were dealt with in an orderly fashion.

Why not get the Mopar one, it's about the same price as the ORW kit.

Posted a few pics on page 49 of this thread. Made some noise to the dealer after the tranny fluid got too hot first time on the beach, they put this Liberty cooler in, it's working well for me, and my driving habits. Umm, that is I never drive it, but when I do, the tranny shifts better after warm up....

To me it's like asking why buy a $1500 lift kit when you can get a cheaper one for $500? They both do the job, which does it better?
The orw kit also replaces the transmission fittings and there is no splicing into the factory tranny lines that have been known to leak at the factory crimps. The kit includes all of this hardware. The orw kit is top shelf, but the B&M kit is also high quality for a cheaper price, just not specifically made for the JK. Plus they can avoid "jeep" pricing with B&M bc they are universal.

I had always heard good things, which is why they were my first choice when seeking out a trans cooler... but, sadly, I cannot say I experienced it. Regardless, back on topic...

The kit by PSC has a 19 row Derale cooler, a snazzy mounting bracket, hose, and the hardware needed to place the cooler inline. While it does not replace the factory crimps, requiring to splice the line, the kit is quite stout and well-thoughtout.

B&M #70268. Seems to be the cooler everyone is using for the JK. Every research I found for a jeep was this cooler. The thing is solid and very high quality compared to the auto zone and O'reilly ones I looked at.

Got it mounted up and cleaned everything up. Didn't finish today, but only need to splice the lines and add fluid. Next weekend I'm going to take a ride with my diablosport programmer and record tranny temp from the factory and after I splice the lines. I'll post the results when I do that. Here is the mount I went with.
