The positive post will be the one closer to center and the negative closest to the edge. This can also help when you have to feel your way around under the console just prior to installing it in the Jeep!

The security console mentioned in this post WILL NOT fit the 2011's due to the interior redesign and the new console options for the model year.
Tuffy has a prototype in the works for the 2011 - hopefully it's debugged and ready for production before the end of the month!
