I did this on Monday (here's another "Thanks Northridge")

This was an easy install... and you are right, those front bolts are TORQUED

Good writeup!

I believe these locks are their patent pryguard locks. I've used them in the Security Drawer (in the back of the Jeep) before I traded for the security deck.

I'll be upgrading the glove box and center console, and getting the locks matched with the same key.

That being said, I'm very fond of their locks.

I've never had someone try to break into one, so I can't attest to that, but, I will rely on them to secure my personal belongings, even with doors off.

The Tuffy Concealed Carry Drawer provides 324 cubic inches of storage space. Their press release says theirs is 205 cubic inches so the Tuffy is significantly larger (58%). I saw a picture on another thread of this forum where the drawer only pulls part way out leaving 6.5" remaining inside the drawer. The Tuffy model pulls all the way out to (15.75") leaving only 1"-3" (depending on the slide) inside the drawer. Tuffy also uses our Pry-Guard Locking system which incorporates a 10 tumbler double bitted lock. A 3 digit combo lock is also an option. The Tuffy drawers have been shipping for awhile now and are available through many of the Tuffy distributors.

Disclaimer: I do work for Tuffy but am trying to just state factual differences since this question has popped up a few times.

thanks for the heads up! its between this and the rear cargo storage locker. probably end up with the rear so I can take out the carpet covered stock one... the last of the carpet removed!

Installed mine last night-- thank you Northridge 4x4-- great service as always! I lined mine with non skid black shelf liner. This took longer than the install. Install took 10 minutes---impact wrench made it easy. Great product!

I noted the gun in the first picture... how's the liner on the bottom of the drawer? Does the stuff inside slide around alot? If I use it for my CCW, I don't want the gun to slide to the back of the drawer... Thanks!
