if you were to post dimensions of the cuts (wood and steel), I'd bet 100 people would make it tomorrow.

 

I've been trying to work out what I want to do with my new JK and this has finally made it easier for me to work out what I will do. You idea for the wood over the back of the seats is what helped me the most.

The carpet came from Lowe's. An 8' X 6' roll was $17.

Where did you get the metal frame material?

 

Most places that carry wood 2 X 4 studs will also have steel 2 X 4 studs. I bought mine at a local sheetrock supply house.

 

Just finished mine. Love how it came out despite my awful carpentry skills and using mostly the wrong tools (only had child proof scissors available to cut carpet, a $30 Circular saw from Harbor freight and a busted serrated knife to trim wood)
