Hi guys! would appreciate if you could share photos and details of your grille with wire mesh modification together with an installed hood lock thanks!

 

i just cut a small hole in the mesh big enough to but the key in. pretty easy.

I actually was going to post this as a new thread, but found this one instead...anyone have any pics of this, I want to see how it works before I do it!, and was wondering the best lock to get that will be the easiet to install after I put in the grill...

I bought the crappy rugged ridge hood lock, it sucked and never worked right so I just put the mesh over the top of it. haha

 

I got the rugged ridge hood lock too.....GARBAGE.

I returned the first hoping it was a manufacturing defect, nope, just plain rubish!

Does anybody know how to 'modify' these to make them work?

 

Great, thats the lock I got last year for Christmas and have not put on yet. Looking foward to that

 

What is wrong with it? does it not lock the hood?? or does it not work at all??

I got one a while back, and i haven't installed it, but i read they are supposed to work pretty decent and they are cheaper than the mopar one
