I don't believe they make a low speed RHR, since most newer model vehicles are going to or have already gone to high speed. For instance the 2011 GC is high speed.

I just looked at the MyGIG RHR 730N units on Ebay and they are running between $1250 to $1550 each - is this what you all paid? Is there a more reasonable outlet?

There was one on eBay and he was also selling on Kijiji in TO for $750.
Wrangler forums had a guy selling one for $800.
Just to give you am idea.

So I am torn here...Can i buy the 45 dollar gps antenna and plug it into the RHR? I did have Sirius, but got rid of it, tired of paying for it. But the gps will work if I just have the one antenna, and leave the sirius antenna unplugged?

I installed the RHR in my 2011. I bought it for a great price on kijiji. I then had to buy and install the mic and satellite antenna. Pretty straight forward just need to remove dash etc.. to get everything in.
Great write up.

Do you think If i disconnect the Sirius antenna up on the roll bar (I think the antenna is connected to an extension, which goes to the radio) Can I plug in the new Dual Antenna (05064910AA) to that extension and use it for the radio? The new antenna comes with a 9 inch cord that allow for no mounting options near the radio, so I want to use the stock location. Anyone think that the new antenna won't accept the old Sirius wiring? I know it uses FAKRA, and by the looks of this writeup's pictures...that a normal cable was used to go into the radio.

Well it works. The factory Sirius antenna is mounted the exact same way as the dual antenna, and works just the same. The extension wire will carry both signals down to the radio for gps and sat. That live weather radar is awesome by the way. I undid the mounting plate to assist in getting the old antenna off, undid the zipper a little further back on the roll bar to find the extension cable.
