I guess I am wondering what I need to connect this mic to the port on the RHR radio? Do you all think I could splice that connection without loosing any sound quality from the splice? Thanks in advance for the advice.
The spice part I would use is the standard oem mic kit, but use this built in Mice in the a pillar and the connection to the radio from the mic kit. Thoughts? Thanks.

I'm not sure of the size limit, the device has to be FAT32 formatted. I thought the size limit of a device for FAT32 format was 32GIG, with a file size limit of 4Gig. I could be wrong on the 32GB size limit, I've read that depends on the OS, where the myGig uses QNX. I'll try to test this out. The back and front USB ports should be the same since it's just a hub.

I looked up the technical details for FAT32.
FAT32 can support up to a 2TB volume size when formatted with a 512K sector size. It can actually support up to 16TB when formatted with a 4096K sector size. I have not found any limitation on the QNX OS except that of the actual FAT32 limitations.
I think you have to realize however, although FAT32 can support up to 2TB in size, the RHR is like a slow computer. Where it will need to read through every music file on that HDD to retrieve the metadata from each song. So if you have a lot of songs on a large USB/HDD, after you plug it in for the 1st time, it could take some time before you can have full access to all the music files.
