Oh........I meant to tell you guys that there's already been a couple sightings of bears being out already......believe it or not. Weather it was just coincidence or not it's hard to say, as brown bears have been known to go in and out of their dens all winter long. But blackies are usually heavy sleepers.

From what I've always heard, is all it takes is for it to start dripping on them in their dens and they'll leave. And it has been getting warm enough during the day for that to start happening.

Anyway....some people have seen both black and brown bears out and about so be careful out there.......they're pretty hungry when they wake up....

Haven't heard if any of them are out and about up here round anchorage or not but hopefully they know something we don't and it is time for breakup.

I agree. I'm ready for breakup. If it wasn't so cold in the mornings, I could get away with taking the doors off already. Was in shorts n a t shirt yesterday afternoon. But, I go home on leave at the end of the month so I get a jump on summer. And my promotion. Hmm, round of polynesian women for all? And I'm sure shipping would be crazy, hell, my quadratec floor mats, grab handles and kc window lights was almost $100 to ship :/
