hows the weather up there.. i got a job offer for Juneau... im still thinking about it .. hows life over there in the last frontier ?

 

Well it's winter, and here in South Centeral AK. we are getting our first WET snows. But just so you know the weather in Fairbanks and the weather in Juneau.....well, lets just say you might as well be in two different countries. Fairbanks is very north and VERY interior. Which means they don't get very affected by the ocean. Where on the other hand, Juneau is pretty much a rain forest. It can be clear and -30 below in Fairbanks, and be 37 degrees and raining in Juneau. Almost totally different worlds.

 

Hey, I'm from Eielson AFB so I'm in the region. Unfortunately, I'm currently deployed, but will be back soon.

Just lookout for a dead stock (not for much longer when I get back) bright @$$ yellow jeep in Fairbanks next month and that should be me...lol

 

Just got notified that I'll be moving to Fairbanks later this year. Probably sometime in November. If you guys are still there, we can get together then.
