2012 JKUR Pricing....Again
Gentlemen,
I'm gonna apologize in advance if this is a redundant question.....but some valuable insight would be tremendously appreciated.
I plan on doing a private sale of my 2012 JKUR in the San Antonio area and would like an honest, no shit price range individuals such as yourselves would be willing to pay for said vehicle. My intention is to set a sale price that is fair and beneficial to both Seller/Buyer....I really don't want to be one of those price gouging fucktards.
Bought the vehicle through an overseas military buying program while in Afghan back in 2012 and never had an opportunity to do what I wanted. At this point, I'm ready to step up to the 2014 JKUR and go from there.
The vehicle has never been off road, have all maintenance records on hand (Driver side cylinder head swapped at 14,000 miles), and in excellent shape in and out. There are very few and I mean extremely small signs of wear on a few pieces of plastic trim inside (mainly in cargo area). Two or three very, very small rock chip marks on the grill. Vehicle listing as follows:
2012 JKUR - BONE STOCK
*5-speed automatic
*24,500 miles (fuckton of these are HWY miles)
*Bright Silver
*Black 3-piece top
*Black cloth interior
*430 NAV/DVD/CD
*Remote Start
*JK Slush Mats
Hopefully this paints a decent picture of the condition of an otherwise stock Rubicon. Any info/advice is greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance guys.

Agreed. No reason to upgrade to a 14 unless you really want something like leather heated seats and a 6 speed manual. Kbb list it for 30,500

Gentlemen,
Thanks for the input. I've done the research on KBB, Edmunds, etc....just wanted a real world perspective from the no shit buyer's.
As for upgrading from a '12 to a '14, you're absolutely right in not much of a change except in cost. As we are all well aware of with the 3.6 Pentastar, the issues are not being handled appropriately regardless of efforts. I've been one of the many patrons now trying to remedy this issue with dealers/Chrysler to no avail.
I was hoping that Chrysler would've worked out all the kinks with the 3.6 for the 14's.....so in a way, I could start fresh with a defect free engine. I've not made the decision to sell yet but all perspectives are appreciated. Thanks again guys.
