Does any one know if the cops in Texas are bad when it come to having bead locks

Up here in Lubbock I've yet to hear of it. I think the Hutchison's are DOT approved. There maybe a few more.

I've never seen or heard of any one getting messed with over having bead locks. I'll see if I can find out, I'm signed up for the police academy right now and have been talking to a couple cops whenever i get the chance just to get info on how it is, i'll see if i can slip that into a conversation sometime, lol

I would be more worried of DPS than city or county. Beadlocks are over rated I think. Unless you have a rock crawler built machine where it may make sense to put 3psi in a tire. If you happen to find a place in Abilene or west Texas for that matter where it's relevant to do such a thing, let me know I'd love to wheel it with ya!

Thanks for the info. I don't plan on running BL's anytime soon. I have other things to do first before they become an option. As far as needing them in west texas I don't foresee them being needed but my ambitions of wheeling extend west past the texas borders
