I know this thread's been quiet for a couple of years but I'll be taking the family to Big Bend the week before Thanksgiving. Don't plan to do anything too adventurous but do plan to explore some of the more "tame" dirt roads. Is CB channel 25 still a good option if we need to try to get a hold of anyone? Other channels? We'll have water, spare, winch, tools, etc. Thanks!
