Hey whats up everyone! I've been on this forum for a while now, never thought edinburg would have a thread though haha... I have a 2010 unlimited, mostly stock but I'm adding some rancho door sliders today just got back from spi yesterday I've been looking to do some off roading but I don't know of much opportunities down here hit me up if anybody is doing anything or if you know any spots

 

Can't say I know of any locations off the top of my head aside from the mudpit...
I like going to the falls in mercedes after a nice downpour...

South on Jackson road, and turn on Whalen Road, but I haven't been there in almost a year I think. I used to go offroading with Jeeperos Del Valle, a few JK's in the club.

 

Poppin my head in to say hi to all Edinburg jeepers. I lived in Edinburg for a year (1999-2000) and was driving a 1980 dodge camper van then! One of these days I'll have to make a trip back - I need some real TexMex food. I miss Taqueria El Zarape!

 

What's up from Germany. Live in San Benito but I'm stationed over here for another year. Just bought my Jk when on leave during Christmas. Can't wait to get back home in the summer and take it to the beach.

 

Spotted a silver Sahara with the forums decals on the side today in mcallen. Parked at Buffalo wings and rings on north 10th. Top was dropped. Who might this be?

 

Taqueria El Zarape has gotten really expensive, though it is pretty good, oh and dont even think of crossing into mexico, its BAD, daily gun battles. As for Zarape, it was great the first years when the family moved out from their small spot on 10th. I would suggest Los 4 Vientos in Edinburg, HUGE Papa's, alil bigger that the original Zarape Papa's

Sound great, definately hit me up, I like relaxing at the beach in the summer, Im sure I'll be here in the Summer, unless I take a summer trip to California.

I sure hope this weekend the weather holds out, I'll be spending friday and saturday installing my new sound system, along with sound deadener. Going to completely strip the Jeep, pull seats, top, doors, and carpet.

 

count me in for an island meet up. it'd be nice to get away.

and good luck on getting the speaker casing on the drivers side out. it was a pain in the a** for me.
